Tim works in ECG’s Healthcare practice. With nearly 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, he has supported provider organizations with physician/hospital alignment strategies, market entry planning, and fair market value opinions. He conducts market research, ensures data integrity, and utilizes statistical tools to validate the analysis for each client engagement. Prior to joining ECG, Tim served as a consultant for a national healthcare consulting firm, assisting clients across the country with engagements ranging from managed care contracting to clinical documentation redesign. He holds a master of healthcare administration degree from the University of Washington School of Public Health and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.

Are Cardiology Benchmarks the Right Tool?

When you take a close look at the data from physician compensation and production surveys, you’ll find some interesting trends emerging in cardiology. For instance, a Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) survey reported that total compensation has increased 8% on average across all subspecialties since 2009.
